The Thanksgiving Meal Drive was a hit!
Connecting2People provided twenty families with a fully Thanksgiving Day Meal! A turkey, canned string beams, canned sweet potatoes, box of stuffing, box of Mac & Cheese, cornbread mix and tea bags were given to the families who were all selected by the local schools Harvie Elementary and Fairfield Middle School in Henrico County.

We are extremely grateful for the help the schools provided with us getting in touch with these families and providing them with the meals to enjoy the holiday that is filled with gratefulness and thanks!

New Year, Same Amazing Turn out at
National Night Out!
National Night Out was held on August 6th, 2024 at the Easter Henrico County Recreation Center in Richmond, VA.
We distributed over 4,000 pieces of schools supplies to the kids in the community.
In addition to the school supplies we gave the kids gifts and bags for trick or treating this Halloween Season.
We would like to thank Sheila Cunningham of the Eastern Henrico County Recreation Center for inviting us again this year!
We would also like to thank the generous supporters for their contributions and donations. Thanks yo you we were able to give school supplies to the families in the community!
Some other highlights during the event included a train ride through the center, music, dancing, food and meeting the VCU Helicopter Emergency Squad. Those guys were amazing!
Lastly, a special backpack was donated to a lucky student with the biggest smile and excitement about school! We hope this student and all the other students have a great and safe school year!
We hope to see even more students and families next year!
Another successful donation drive!
On June 25th, 2024 Connecting2People provided the women's shelter New Life for Adults with four boxes of feminine care products for the women at the center.

For the Easter Holiday my granddaughter and I made some Easter Baskets and distributed them to some families around the area. It was wonderful seeing the surprise look on the kids face!
Tis the season to be Jolly!
After collecting numerous amounts of toys, we delivered them all to the Ronald McDonald House Charities here in Richmond,VA. We also donated blankets and socks to the Mcshin Foundation. Lastly, we would also like to give a special thanks to all the contributions received throughout the year. Thank you for helping bring joy and providing for the people and families in need!

Christmas Toy Drive Fundraiser
Coming this October!
On October 21st, 2023 we will host our fist fundraising event, "Connect Toys 2 Kids."
Our goal is to raise $1,000 to donate toys to the Ronald McDonald's House of Charities of Richmond, Virginia.

National Night Out was a Success!
As we reflect on our first contribution made to our community at this year's National Night Out it was successful! We donated 806 back to school items to families and teachers. There was also 300 more items and backpacks that went to Swift Creek Middle School in Chesterfield County. Working as a NPO (Non Profit Orginization) it is truly a humbling experience.

The Date is August 1st, 2023, the time is 6PM-9PM and it will be held at the Laburnum Recreation Center in Richmond, VA.
